The exhibition of the two artists have the experience of creating life in China, they are using paper as the medium to create works.

From South Korean artist Pyo Inbu’s paper relief works, pay more attention to the picture and colour adornment, through the control of this thin and soft paper material of lightweight texture, rhythm of form and pasting to create: this method shows a “wind” quality, making his works like a breeze blowing, leaving layers of wind and waves, in order to express his inner feelings about distant memories.

Australian artist, Denise Keele-bedford, is a veteran international art exchange practitioner who participates in international visits and participates actively in international art exchanges.

She has more than 10 years of experience in creating and living in China. In China, she uses a variety of materials to create artworks based in different cultural customs and beliefs.

The paper boat installation was first created during her residency at the Hudson Centre for Contemporary Art in New York. The Hudson River inspired an interactive range of art works based on immigration, environmental issues, trade and art history of the area.

Yellow in many cultures represents hope and these small paper boats, through the mass accumulation has a visual power and also rallies the power of Hope.
