Denise Keele-bedford ‘Variation on a Theme’ Marble
Denise Keele-bedford Artist Statement:
Simple everyday objects, the common household utensils and vessels that give comfort and function we take for granted.
In honouring the everyday simple objects, I endeavour to give acknowledgement to their beauty, functionality and importance to our lives.
I have used the purity of white marble to emphasis the line of the object. Marble is known for being translucent and the range of finishes on the objects highlight the character of the stone.
