Since colonisation so much of our focus has been on exotic plants, gardens and parks, rather than celebrating what is uniquely ours. Sometimes we can be blind to what is right in front of us.
Paintings of the detail and uniqueness of our plants in a big format helps us connect with their beauty. Reminding us all to value and preserve our native plants and landscapes. Appreciation and care of our natural surrounds can be key to our own ability to flourish and contribute to the world around us. It can start with something as simple as finding a new walk in the area where you live.
