Beatrice joined MSWPS in 2016. In 2017 She was recipient of the Annie Davision Oliver Award and in 2020 received the Inaugural MSWPS Sculpture Award. Beatrice is an active and engaging artist, who in 2021 joined the MSWPS Committee.

BEATRICE: I am a Melbourne based artist, currently working mainly in bronze and have been exhibiting for a number of years. I will give a brief talk on my sculpture and on my process.
In 2019 I participated in an art residency at Gæsteatelier Hollufgård, Denmark.
This was an ideal environment both for working and dialogue with fellow residents. It provided me with a fresh outlook on my work. I was able to bring back new research including photos, sketches and a number of wax models for bronze sculptures. I will also touch on the benefits taking part in an art residency.
