Reflected Moon

In this circular painting and poem created simultaneously, I have strived to capture the energy of the full moon. It was inspired by a moonlit walk along the beach at dusk as the full moon rose and its light reflected into the clouds above and below into the water

Reflected moon poem :

The strong silent pull of a new full moon
a catalyst for change
emerging out of the dark cloud shadows.

Reflections whisper softly
on a small trickle of light
held on the changing tide.

Soft vulnerable light.
For a moment
