Who Rolls the Dice?

I wrote a story about the notion of gambling, taking chances with money, taking chances in romance, taking chances in choices that determine the paths of our lives. The story was called Wrong Number, and was originally read in 2012 on Lion FM radio and later published by Jewish Women of Words (JWOW) in 2021. I painted a couple of images to accompany the story. This one was not chosen, but I love it and it is now the first in a projected series. It captures what I want to say. Who, indeed, does roll our dice?
