The MSWPS Life Drawing is held at the Ola Cohn Studio, 43 Gipps St East Melbourne. Our sessions are always held on Thursday, starting at 10:30 am concluding 12:30 or 1pm. Parking is no problem although there is a 2 hour time limit. All sides of Darling Square are available with no charge. Moving the car (if necessary)is no trouble as this can be done between drawing sessions. I think most of the artists who regularly attend these Thursdays, consider it an opportunity to maintain their observation/ drawing skills. This is especially useful when using a life model. All poses are 20 min in length with first session being broken into shorter times for warm up. The studio has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Pen, pencil, brush, watercolour, acrylic and iPad are all in use. These sessions can be used as an experiential time, not necessarily to produce a ‘ finished’ image.
