The September MSWPS Bulletin brings news of the upcoming Changing Perspectives Exhibition.
President Carmel O’Connor states: The task appears to be daunting
at first, committee members take on various jobs by discussion at earlier committee meetings. Subcommittees
are formed, and notes are made for future agendas and the minutes are taken. It is
interesting to observe the details and notice that change is inevitable as new Committee Members take on
old roles with new technology. The MANUAL TASKS stay the same – ordering, collecting and distributing
the HARD COPY invitations, preparing the Members’ Entry Form, receiving and hanging the show, sitting
the exhibition, managing sales and preparing for the Opening with drinks, glasses, food and clean-up.
The Bulletin reflects the activity of Members with many exhibitions, awards, presentations and new members welcomed into the Society.
