VALE – Joyce Evans 1929-2019 Famous Melbourne Photographer died last week aged 90 years April 2019
Joyce has left a photographic documentary of many Australian artists. The NGV has three photos by Joyce:- Mark Strizic, Lin Onus, and a group photo of Leslie Dumbrell, Robert Jack & Victor Majzner.
I recall asking Joyce in 2018 ‘Did she miss friends that had died’. Her answer was ‘I just think of them as on holiday’
