You may be aware that the Box Hill Institute (BHI) Facilities are investigating the 41 Gipps St, East Melbourne property structural issues.  BHI Facilities has received approval from the Heritage Victoria to complete the various structural repairs. We are currently finalising the list of repairs for the contractors tender. 

Part of our investigation we have discovered that the property waste that connects to the town main sewer is in poor condition. This sewer waste repair will require up to five days to complete.

During the sewer repair work the property water supply will be turned off and the waste will be disconnected to the town sewer.

At this stage we do not have a starting date for the sewer repairs, as soon we have a date I will be contacting you to coordinate the property closure.

If you could inform your MSWPS members that the Ola Cohn property will required to be closed due to the sewer repairs. I apologise for the inconvenience that this disruption may cause, but it is important to have the old plumbing sewer pipes replaced to limit the risk of future blockage.
