Von Guerard filled 22 sketchbooks in 28 years. See them with the major works they inspired. (Marion Chapman guided in The Von Guerard Exhibition at The NGV in 2011 so will be a valuable resource for us) This exhibition has been highly recommended by Louise Foletta and Celia Beeton.
INSTRUCTIONS: Meet at Southern Cross Station at 8.45 am on the Platform for the Ballarat (Wendouree) train that Departs 9.06 am
Arrives Ballarat Station at 10.33am Purchase ticket at Suburban Station to save on Myki costs (This might be a chance for some of us to use our Seniors’ Free Vouchers.) RETURN Depart Ballarat at 3.08 pm Arrives Southern Cross at 4.50pm About ten members have shown interest in coming on this trip.
