Tribute: Mariette Perrinjacquet

1941-2019

Perrinjacquet Mariette nee Bourquin 1941- 2019 Swiss born Australian sculptor, graphic designer and teacher best known for her textile woven sculptures incorporating driftwood relating to the natural world.

In 1986 Mariette became a member of MSWPS and contributed as a committee member, exhibitor, designing our current logo, winning the 2014 Annie Davison Oliver Award, and in 2007, 2002 and 1999 the Mable Pryde Memorial Prize. Her book La Feuille Verte (The Green Leaf) was published in 2013.
