The MSWPS Christmas Luncheon -- a Happy Ending to 2024
The Christmas Luncheon on 5 December at the Ola Cohn House was very well attended. We all enjoyed the chance to catch up with friends and celebrate the Festive season together.
Sparkling was the theme and everyone responded with sparkling eyes, smiles, clothing or accessories. Kris Kringle was as popular as usual and the table was laden with delicious food.

Glitterati. The Christmas Lunch.
The theme, quite quickly set in place
Was simply one word: "Sparkle".
Which puts to rest profuse debate
Or feisty, rough, debacle.
(Should such a case ever emerge
From ladies, gracious, arty).
So "Sparkle" set, effectively,
The theme for our lunch party.
And so, the "Brilliants" met at twelve
(at Ola's ) all a twitter,
With lots of goss and follow-up,
Determined not to litter.
But sparkly things and lots of bling
And stories (helped by bubbles)
Spread wide as tides of wafting specks
Ensuring cleaners' troubles!...
