Port Philip bay distant light

This circular painting created especially for this exhibition is inspired by one of the daily walks I make beside Port Philip bay which has been a constant inspiration to me during lockdown here in Melbourne. One hazy day looking towards Melbourne the sunlight occasionally broke through the clouds reflecting light on the water somehow it instilled a sense of hope for the future, a guiding distant light through the haze of the challenging times we are all facing. Hope can provide the key to making everyday life better. Perhaps this painting will instill a sense of hope in the viewer.
