Wild Air-Flinders Is.

A surprise opportunity took us to Flinders Island in April 2021, in a brief respite from Victorian Covid lockdowns.

The island flooded me with a sense of boundless space, echoed by the seascape, the sky, the mountains and land.

The pigments I chose reflect the shimmering subtlety of colour changes every day, from soft sunrise to rainy afternoons, and the long mark making emphasizes the endless seas and skies that shaped this wild world.
