Towards the Point Wye River, is the current featured artwork on the MSWPS Website and Facebook page.
The artwork was selected for the Inaugural Judith Perry Award for Oil/Acrylic at the 2022 Annual exhibition, Changing Perspectives.
The Judge: Dr Maggie McCormick commented,
This painting of a woman walking alone along a deserted beach keeps calling you back and drawing you in to how that feels – the dampness on your feet, the cold on your body, the wind in your hair. But you also feel the freedom in the swooping of the birds and the crashing of the waves and the sense of ‘some place else’ in the boat on the horizon.
